Biography
I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from Utah State University, where I was honored as the Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year in 2019. I went on to complete my Ph.D. in Health Science with an emphasis in Exercise and Sport Science from Liberty University in 2024, graduating with a 3.7 GPA. My dissertation focused on the physiological adaptations of weighted versus unweighted plyometric training on swimmers’ sprint swim abilities. I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor at Utah State University, teaching courses in Dynamic Fitness and Administration/Classroom Management. My teaching interests center on fitness, nutrition, and preparing future educators with effective classroom management and leadership skills. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid CrossFit competitor and coach, holding a CrossFit Level 1 certification. I have also coached swimming at San Diego State University, where I was part of the staff that helped the team win the Mountain West Conference Championship.
