Biography
I am a doctoral student in the Disability Disciplines – Pathokinesiology program. My research interests include quantification of physical activity via wearable devices and the impacts of the built environment on children’s physical activity. I work as a graduate research assistant in the Kids in Motion (KIM) Lab with Dr. Kimberly Clevenger, and as a teaching assistant for KIN 4400 Measurement and Evaluation. I am originally from northern Michigan, and I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from Michigan State University. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, and bouldering.
