Biography
I have worked in aquatics for twelve years and am currently the Coordinator of Aquatics and Safety with Utah State University Campus Recreation. Over the years, I’ve earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a specialization in Environmental Health and a M.S. in Watershed Sciences studying microplastics in the Logan River System. During the pursuit of my M.S. degree, I was the Teaching Assistant for multiple courses in the Watershed Sciences Department and currently, I oversee six courses in the Lifetime Activity Program housed in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. I have been involved in multiple research projects looking at how human recreation can impact our environment, including a 2,650 mile trash and microplastic survey on the Pacific Crest Trail. The most exciting thing in my life right now is teaching all of the wonderful people in RAM 3900!
