Biography

I am a graduate instructor responsible for teaching first aid and emergency response courses. I am pursuing a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis on health education and promotion. Currently, I am a physical therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I have chosen to pursue a Master’s in Public Health because in my career I have seen firsthand the difference that regular exercise can have on a person’s health both preventatively and as a treatment. I want to provide education and resources on a population-based level to promote and implement exercise and movement as medicine. I hope to one day receive a PhD and work as a physical therapy professor. I grew up in Woods Cross, Utah, completed my undergrad at Utah State, and received my physical therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma. I enjoy all sports especially football, basketball, and wakeboarding and I love all things outdoors!
