Guest Lectures, presentation, and/or talks

Help students to build and shape their plans and goals for after graduation by sharing your experiences in the ‘real world’. By sharing with students about your struggles, successes, and story you can offer insights and knowledge that will influence students and help to prepare them to be successful.

These opportunities could be available at our department, program, course, or club level and could include brown bags, workshops, guest lectures in courses, mix and mingle with alumni events, topic-based presentations or talks, etc.

If are interested in participating or helping with these events make sure your directory information is updated and feel free to contact either the main office (khs@usu.edu) and/or program directors.

Employment and Work Experience Opportunities for Students

To our alumni and friends who have internships, job shadowing, or open positions, we have students who are looking for ways to broaden their understanding of careers and how to apply what they are learning in their chosen field. These are excellent ways that students can get experience in areas they did not have previously.

Our department can help and would be thrilled to share this information to our students.

Service Opportunities and Engagement for Students

If you need volunteers or have a service project that the Kinesiology and Health Science Students could participate in provide those details (i.e. date, time, number of volunteers, etc.) to the main office and we will help distribute the information to faculty, staff, and students.

If you know someone who is looking for a program, whether undergraduate or graduate, and could be a good fit for one of the Kinesiology and Health Science Department and Programs, send them our way (khs@usu.edu).
