Biography

Bryce graduated from Utah State University in Recreation Management and Multimedia Design. He has worked in the parks and recreation field for over 14 years, most recently as a director for the past 10 years. He serves on the National Recreation & Parks Association CPC board, Utah Recreation & Parks Association Leadership Academy and has been awarded multiple accolades for his work in parks and recreation. When Bryce isn't working you can find him on the golf course, at the theater, attending sporting events or spending time with his family.

Most Meaningful thing learned or experienced during his time as a KHS student:

I never had a bad professor or mentor. Each one of my mentors took the time to help be a great student and a professional in the field of study that I'm in today.

Advice for current students or recent graduates of the program:

When you are exploring what classes you want to take you to need to balance your class credits with "credits of experience". It is important to find real life examples of what you are interested in doing and apply what you are learning in school to those experiences. Find places to volunteers, work at events, shadow other professionals, network early in your career. Doing these things will give you an unbeatable edge as you graduate.
