Biography

After finishing school I had the opportunity to take a position within the USU Facilities Department which was based around events. We were responsible for the setup, maintenance, and cleanup of all major stadium and arena events. Through hard work, I was able demonstrate to my superiors an ability and desire to improve the department however possible. This lead to my being able to assist in the expansion of Event Services on campus to include event contracting, rental equipment management, website design, and many other service based functions. We were fortunate enough to take on all the Ushering for campus events as well. Our involvement with events ranged from, approving space requests to coordinating football games and campus graduation ceremonies. Currently I assist with all Major Event Operations as their campus contact. during the COVID-19 pandemic it has been my pleasure to help assist with site coordination and development for the campus testing
sites. I have also been fortunate to continue my education through training with the IAVM Venue Management School and the associated Graduate Institute. I currently reside in Hyde Park with my wife Karyn and two children Troy and Samantha.
