Before Thesis/Dissertation Proposal
Following a student’s third semester:
- Submit Supervisory Committee Approval form
- Submit Program of Study

At Thesis/Dissertation Proposal
Within seven days of successful proposal:
- Submit thesis/dissertation title page to RaNae via email to route for electronic signatures

After Thesis/Dissertation Proposal
Three months prior to defense:
- For Thesis: Submit the Master's Thesis/Project Approval form
- For Dissertations: Submit the Application for Candidacy form after successful proposal, IRB or IACUC approval (if necessary), and successful completion of comprehensive exams

Before Thesis/Dissertation Defense
Ten business days prior to defense:
- Submit Appointment for Examination form

After Thesis/Dissertation Defense
Before submitting thesis/dissertation to department reviewer:
- Submit Title Page
- Submit Format and Style form
- Submit Authorship and Copyright form
Submit thesis/dissertation to RaNae by email for submission to department and SGS review
