Biography
Dr. Milman received her PhD in Speech & Hearing Sciences from University of Arizona and completed postdoctoral training in Neurolinguistics at Northwestern University.
Teaching Interests
Her teaching interest include: neuroscience, neurogenic communication disorders, assessment of cognition and communication, treatment of aphasia, and research methods.
Research Interests
Dr. Milman conducts translational research applying basic principles from cognitive neuroscience to aphasia rehabilitation. Her current research focuses on the use of mathematical models to develop faster and more accurate language measures. She is also interested in innovative approaches to aphasia rehabilitation.
