The Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Research Center* at Utah State University is housed within the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services. The Center supports research, services, and education in collaboration with many departments at USU and other entities across the state. The center focuses on:

  • Research (its primary mission)
  • Supportive services
  • Workforce training

The ADRC is committed to building a collaborative research infrastructure where individuals throughout the state of Utah can be involved and informed in dementia research, learn more about best practices in care, and find resources for emotional and practical support. The center engages with multiple institutions across the state and is guided by principles and needs outlined in Utah’s State Plan for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.

*This program has received funding from the state of Utah and will be officially designated as a “center” once its R401 approval has been finalized by the Utah System of Higher Education.
