Become a Dementia Resource Ambassador

ADRC Director Beth Fauth talking to an elderly woman.

What is a Dementia Resource Ambassador?

Utah has a network of resources available for people worried about dementia, living with dementia, or caring for someone with dementia. We are seeking motivated people throughout the state to learn about these resources through our program and become a touchpoint in their community for those who may be needing these resources.

We invite individuals from anywhere in Utah, especially those in rural and frontier counties who are interested in actively working to address Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias, to join our trainings and become a Dementia Resource Ambassador. If you are a family caregiver, an individual with a dementia, a service provider without a dementia specialization, or a community leader—you are a target audience for this program.

Our goal is to train at least one community member from
each of Utah's 13 health districts. We prioritize recruitment efforts for those referred by community-based organizations, living in rural/frontier counties, and who express interest in actively working to address Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias.
