Biography

I grew up in northern California, where I received my bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a master of arts degree in psychological science from California State University, Chico. During my master’s program, my research focused on the delay discounting of real and hypothetical smartphone access and money in smartphone-dependent college students. In addition to technology dependency, my research interests lie broadly within the field of behavioral economics. I am most interested in the delay discounting of real vs. hypothetical outcomes, monetary delay discounting vs. delay discounting of other commodities, behavioral pharmacology and addiction research. I strive to one day become a professor after receiving training in the Behavior Analysis Program. Outside of the academic world, I enjoy all things music-related, reading, spending time with my husband, playing any and all games with friends, and cuddling with my cat.
