Biography
I received a master’s degree from USU in 2008 in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation with a Health Education Emphasis. In addition, I completed a year-long Quality Improvement Advisor (IA) Certification from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. I’ve had several public health positions at the local, state, and national levels. I am a doctoral student in the Sociobehavioral Epidemiology Program working with Dr. Karl White on a variety of issues impacting children who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH). My research focus is the role public health and early intervention systems play in the outcomes of children who are DHH.
