Stephanie Vinal

Biography

I am a doctoral student in School Psychology, PhD program working in Dr. Tyler Renshaw's lab. After graduating from college, I worked with Teach For America for four years as a high school special education teacher in Massachusetts. During this time I earned a master's degree from Boston University in curriculum and teaching. My work with low-income school districts inspired me to explore ways of providing more holistic mental health and wellbeing services in urban and rural education settings.  I am focused on youth and adolescent mental health and is currently researching evidence-based practices for mental health interventions in school settings.
