Francesca Knudsen

Biography

I am a graduate student in the Combined Clinical/Counseling Psychology PhD program working with Drs. Mike Levin and Mike Twohig in the ACT Research Group. I received my BA in Psychology & Health, Medicine, and Society from Lehigh University in 2021. I previously worked as a research coordinator at the WELL Center at Drexel University, where I gained research and clinical experience on eating disorder prevention and behavioral weight loss studies. I am broadly interested in utilizing acceptance- and mindfulness-based strategies to improve stress, healthy eating, physical activity behaviors and subsequent health outcomes in at-risk populations. In my free time, I enjoy hiking around beautiful Utah, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends!
