José Manuel Gonzalez Vera

Biography

I am a doctoral student in the Combined Clinical/Counseling Psychology Program. I received my bachelor's in psychology and social behavior from the University of California, Irvine. I currently work in the Culture and Mental Health lab under the guidance of Dr. Domenech Rodríguez. My research interests broadly involve examining psychological well-being within undocumented communities. I am specifically interested in exploring protective and risk factors within this community. Outside of research, I enjoy running, playing soccer, hiking, and exploring new places.
