Biography

I am a student in the Behavior Analysis specialization working with Dr. Amy Odum. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University, Sacramento with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis. In my undergrad career I worked in both the Cross-Cultural Research Laboratory and the Verbal behavior Laboratory where I looked at different factors relating to race and verbal behavior. I also have applied experience as a registered behavior technician and program supervisor, both implementing and creating evidence-based interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and various other developmental and intellectual disabilities ranging 18 months to 21 years of age. My current research interests include but are not limited to race and environmental factors relating to delay discounting/impulsivity, resurgence and drug and environmental factors influencing timing/temporal discrimination. In my free time I enjoy horticulture, nature and various art forms.
