Kevin Chi

Biography

I am a Queer Chinese and Cuban American student in the Combined Clinical/Counseling Psychology PhD specialization working with Dr. Renee Galliher. I received my bachelor’s degree in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Florida. My research interests are centered around queer and trans folx, focusing on the factors that contribute to their wellness. More specifically I’m interested in working with folx of color, understanding what happens at the intersections of their racial/ethnic identities and their gender and sexual identities. Outside of research, my interests include Disney, photography, drinking coffee, caring for my plants, relaxing with a nice comedy, and FaceTiming my nephew.
