Matias Avellaneda

Biography

I'm a PhD student in the Behavior Analysis program under the advisement of Dr. Tim Shahan, with my main research interest being choice behavior. In particular, I seek to understand which variables determine whether animals will distribute their time among alternatives or show exclusive preference for one of them. When I'm not working, I like to obsess over math and World of Warcraft (Classic, of course).
