Jack Van Allsburg

Biography

I’m a student in the Brain & Cognition PhD specialization working with Dr. Timothy Shahan. My research interests include animal learning and decision-making, specifically how the value of information changes over time. I’m originally from Grand Rapids, MI, where I studied psychology and English for my undergraduate degree at Calvin University. In my free time, I like to hike, bike, take photos, read pop science books, visit museums, and see live music.
