Haley Solomon

Biography

Dr. Haley V. Solomon, DO, assistant clinical professor of psychiatry and adjunct assistant professor of medicine, is studying whether brain MRI patterns can distinguish bipolar disorder from behavioral-variant frontotemporal degeneration. The purpose of the research is to identify imaging differences between these two conditions, which often share symptoms like mood and behavioral changes that make diagnosis difficult, especially in midlife. This work aims to reduce diagnostic delays and improve treatment planning and prediction of neurodegenerative disease. Because accurate differentiation is critical, the findings could directly impact clinical decision-making and long-term patient outcomes.
