Biography

Heather taught in public school for 8 years teaching students with severe cognitive disabilities in elementary school, high school and post high school. During her time teaching she also was a member of the Utah Assistive Augmentative, Adaptive Communication Team (UAAACT) for the school district.

Teaching Interests

She currently teaches curriculum and practicum courses and collaboration and assistive technology course to the distance students (OPTT). She also teaches an on-campus assistive technology course. She also supervises practicum students and student teachers. She has a huge passion for teaching students with severe cognitive disabilities
