The Cricut Maker is a smart cutter that can cut hundreds of materials, from paper and fabric to matboard, leather, and balsa wood.
HTC Vive Pro
Equipped with SteamVR Base Station 2.0.
There is a computer with a STEAM account for gameplay.
You can play Pac-Man and other classic games on this student-built arcade machine.
The Full Spectrum Laser Cutter has a cutting area of 20" x 12". It can cut wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, and more, up to 1/4 inch. In order to use the laser cutter, you must first complete the tutorial:
Tools & Materials
The Design Lab has a variety of materials to help you get prototyping quickly! Paper, felt, colored pencils, recycled materials, and more.
Soldering is a technique used mostly to do detailed work on circuit boards and other electronics. All the equipment is available here.
The Design Lab has legos and K'nex for quick prototyping or mapping ideas.
Sewing and Embroidery
The Brother SE400 Combination Computerized Sewing and 4x4 Embroidery Machine has 67 built-in stitches, 70 built-in designs, and 5 lettering fonts.
Tables and Couches
This conference room table is available for meetings. It fits at least eight chairs. A cutting mat is available at the end of the table.
