Jenna  Matthews

Biography

Jenna is a Ph.D. student in the Learning Dynamics Lab. Her research focuses on learning as an emergent behavior in distributed environments with a goal of modeling the interactions and their impact on the process of creating knowledge (as an artifact of learning). She also works for Pearson Education leading research teams focused on learning behavior and interventions. Jenna has degrees in Learning Science, Management Information Systems, and Biology. She has built and taught computer science courses at both the college and community levels, served on an advisory committee for a new degree program, and built learning analytics teams to understand and improve student learning behavior.
