Utah LEARNS (Learning for Educators And Researchers through Networked Systems) is a teacher professional learning network formed in 2024 in response to dissertation findings uncovered by Nate Justis at Utah State University.

Join our 3rd annual Utah LEARNS conference for an engaging, hands-on learning experience. Hear expert teachers impart their knowledge to strengthen educators statewide.

We cultivate a community of Utah educators who connect, share expertise, and learn together to strengthen professional practice and student learning.

At Utah LEARNS, we believe that:

  1. When teachers thrive, students benefit.
  2. Teachers do amazing things when they're supported and encouraged to innovate.
  3. Teachers have unique perspectives on their students' needs and how to meet them.
  4. Connecting teachers across school and district boundaries creates new and meaningful opportunities for professional learning.
  5. Teachers are more likely to remain in the profession when they feel valued, connected, supported, and inspired.
