The Families in Sport Lab at Utah State University advocates for strengthened family relationships and positive human development through sport by engaging in novel research, high-quality teaching, and meaningful community outreach. The lab supports graduate and undergraduate student achievement through research, educational, and service-related mentoring. Individualized professional development opportunities are designed to enhance student learning and provide a foundation for careers in a range of academic and non-academic settings. The lab also develops and maintains robust partnerships with international, national, regional, and local organizations that bring awareness to the impactful roles of parents, siblings, peers, and coaches in youth sport across the lifespan.
