Success Academy Schools Tour (2024)

 

USU’s Center for the School of the Future, Success Academy representatives, and representatives of Logan City School District and Ogden School District met in six learning community of practice (L-CoP) meetings (see activities below) followed by an on-site visit of two of Success Academies New York City based schools. The overall purpose of these work is to strengthen student learning among all L-CoP schools.  

• L-CoP 1 – School learning performance/organization results share out and discussion.
• L-CoP 2 – Highest leverage inputs to learning/organization results share out and discussion. 
• L-CoP 3 – Talent selection processes and presentations share out, discussion and identification of potential adjustments.
• L-CoP 4 – Talent induction processes and presentations share out, discussion and identification of potential adjustments.
• L-CoP 5 – Talent competency attainment processes and presentations share out, discussion and identification of potential adjustments.
• L-CoP 6 – Long term evolutionary teaching/learning processes and presentations share out and potential adjustments.
