Success Academy Visits Utah (2023)

Representatives of New York City’s highly reputed collection of 49 Success Academy charter schools traveled to Utah to co-deliver a presentation with USU’s Center for the School of the Future at the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools annual conference. The title of the presentation was “Learning is the Focus Connecting Success Academy and USU’s Center for the School of the Future.” A dinner presentation and discussion were also conducted separate from the conference and included colleagues of The Center for the School of the Future and representatives from the Career Academy of Utah and Cambridge Preparatory Academies of Utah. These charter schools are in USU’s charter school portfolio. The focus of the dinner was to further understand underlying the Success Academy, and how they could be applied to good effect in Utah, and especially in USU’s charter portfolio schools.
