Powerful Publishable Plots: The Grammar of Graphics

This session will focus on the Grammar of Graphics, rather than any specific software package.  Much of the material covered will come directly from Jurgen Symanzik, who is not only a USU professor of Statistics, but a world renowned specialist in visualization and graphics.  This class will focus on what makes good graphics good and what to avoid to make more powerful plots.  Mark your calendars now and look for another email, including registration information, next month.

Required Prerequisite

None.  This workshop will focus on the do’s and don’t of good graphics, but not any software package specifically.
