Rolayne Wilson is an associate professor in physical education in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, where she has taught for 24 years. She currently teaches elementary physical education, rhythms and movement, and the student teaching seminar. She thoroughly enjoys working with her students, training them to be future teachers, and to be physically active for a lifetime. She loves to play outdoors and can be seen mountain biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
One of her favorite sayings is: “People do not quit playing because they grow old; they grow old because they quit playing.” (Oliver Wendell Holmes)
